Playsets and Grandparents

This week at Play Outdoors Texas, we’ve worked with two sets of grandparents on different sides of the state to gift their grandchildren with new playsets.  Grandparents are some of our best customers.  Sometimes we work with them to restore swing sets their kids played on, we work with them to add new play features to already purchased playsets, and we work with them to design new playsets as gifts for their beloved grandkids.

Grandparents seem to take a special joy in watching the kids they love play and grow.  They seem to truly understand that while the days may be long, the years truly are short.

We were tagged on Instagram (@playoutdoorstexas) on an adorable video of one of these playset gifts.  I worked with the little girl’s grandfather to design the perfect Backyard Adventures playset. He wanted her to have a playhouse with a side table for sure.  Other play features included a double-wall wave side, swings, and a trapeze bar all on our Adventure Outlook fort.

The young granddaughter loved her Backyard Adventures wooden playset.  The video showed her excitement running out to see her newly gifted playset for the first time.  Her grandparents were extremely grateful for the work we did, and we were so honored to be the company they chose to purchase from.

Grandparents are highly influential in the lives of their grandchildren.  No matter how old each of these children get, they’ll always remember that their grandparents lovingly gifted them with their amazing specialty playsets.  Maybe even great-grandchildren will get the opportunity to play on it.
